Here, we’ll continue to build a community that improves the online environment in support of a stronger Shared America. An Overwhelming Response
Last month, hundreds of individuals and organizations from across the country joined our Community Call. We were overwhelmed by the determination of so many to do something about the U.S.’s negative information ecosystem, and participants’ desire to tell stories about the America we know—one of hope, optimism, and trust in one another.
Social Media Capacity Building
To support the vision of more positive, uplifting content online, next month we’ll be offering our inaugural social media masterclass to upskill those ready to create and contribute. The first class will focus on content that performs well on social, and why. There’ll be a presentation from the Shared America team, as well as time for questions and discussion.

Sharing Our Analysis
To inform the work that we and our partners are doing, we’ve been studying the social media ecosystem in the U.S. We’ve focused on content and creators that are deliberately provocative and divisive—often in pursuit of financial gain.
